Hamro Nepal Sports, Chitwan | Chitwan Premier League set to return this December
After a successful first season of CPL, the second season was on hold due to the extreme outbreak of COVID-19 all over the world. Organizer Narayani Advertising and Events announced the return of the league in December through the Press Release on Thursday.
The Organizing Committee has also announced that the second edition will be played in “Gautam Buddha International Stadium”.
The Tournament confines Five Teams namely: Bharatpur Gurkhas, Madi Tigers, Ichhakamaana Warriors, Sauraha Sands, and Rapti Rapids. Last Year, Rapti Rapids defeated Sauraha to rope in the Trophy.
The “Chitwan Premier League” was expected to start from the end of March but the Corona Impact pushed the league 9 months ahead.
The teams are required to include at least two National Level Players, U-19 National Players, and 3 local players.
