Today, through a press conference, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) released an announcement regarding the confirmation of the Tri-Nations Series between Nepal, Malaysia, and the Netherlands.
The teams will compete for the Bajaj Pulsar Tri-series in Nepal, 2021. The series will be played in the round-robin format, where the top teams will compete in the finals.
After the reduction of COVID cases and the resumption of domestic competitions in December 2020, the return of international cricket to Nepal will be a moment to cherish.
Everyone involved in the game shall be in a Biosecure Bubble and PCR testing shall be conducted for each of the players and officials.
CAN’s President Chatur Bahadur Chand mentioned in a Press Conference, “ I would like to thank both Netherlands and Malaysia Cricket for working closely in very short duration to get this series happening. We are delighted to announce the return of International Cricket in Nepal.”
